The device is developed for protection of VIPs, convoys and high-security objects against threats of possible terroristic acts when explosive devices with radio controlled fuses may be used for it.

Frequency range 20...2 750 (6 000) MHz

The device also can be used for jamming cellular, trunked radio and other types of communication links on big squares, stadiums, transportation terminals and so on.

The device receiving unit scans the operating frequency range (20–2750 MHz) with speed 30 THz/sec, then by results of this scanning within time not exciding 10 microseconds, it analysis the received (detected) signal and forms jamming signal that after enhancement by wideband amplifier is emitted through antenna-feeder system to air. Internal structure of jamming signal is similar to the structure of useful signal in which the specially formed distortions are added. Such way of forming jamming signal allows the device efficient operation with any number of radio sources and with any modes of transmitting, such as for instance, frequency hopping mode.

The jammers can be equipped with special additional units for synchronization of transmitting and receiving signals when simultaneous operation of several jammers is necessary for protection of large buildings, big areas, extended convoys and so on (option).

Application of spot jamming allows to generate jamming signal having very high spectral density by power — 5 W at 1 kHz. In order to achieve such high spectral density by using wideband barrage jamming in operating range 20–2750 MHz, the integral output power of such a jammer should be equal to 13 650 W, that is practically unreal.
